now the rather greyish days of the year are coming and the world is preparing for another lock down. If it won't happen physically everywhere, it will definitely happen mentally. In the USA, important decisions are coming up, and no matter what happens, I think I see that there is a longing for normality everywhere, including or especially in the art business.
On the last weekend of October, the Kunstsalon took place at Stettenfels Castle. Even if there were no peak numbers of visitors, it was at least significantly more than one could expect in view of the latest pandemic figures and many visitors were actually happy that art was still on offer at all.
We, too, want to maintain normality in our gallery in Leonberg and will continue our gallery program with unchanged opening times as announced – and even today we're inviting at 11.15 am for a show opening. We record all gallery visitors and here, too, visitor numbers are of course no record values, but no drama either. It is also interesting that the combination of online and gallery has proven itself, because last week we sold an artwork that the interested party first saw on our website, then viewed it 'live' in Leonberg and then bought it straight away.
Yesterday was our General Meeting 2019, which, as announced, we carried out 'on a small scale' as as a formal act of the 2019 annual financial statements, omitting the presentation of plans or decisions for the future. First of all, thanks to all those involved and participants for this support. We are now preparing the minutes of the meeting and will be sending it out separately in the next few days. Hopes are that we can have a General Meeting under regular conditions in 2021 towards the end of the first half of the year.

MAN, WHERE ARE YOU? | KUN:ST ART PRIZE 2021
The KUN:ST Art Prize 2021 “Man, where are you?” is again an open competition for artists from Germany and abroad. It feels like our world has not become a better place to live for us humans in recent years. With the topic 'Man, where are you?' we want to motivate artists to participate and invite them to take an artistic stand on the diverse impressions and feelings that arise for each individual in this eventful time with corona, climate change, political decisions, war, hunger or refugees.

Nobody knows what will happen in the next few weeks. Let's stay courageous, let's look ahead, let's take the Christmas season as an opportunity to reflect on our core values. Who and what is really important to us? The coming time is a good time to clear your mind and focus on it.
