KUN:ST Newsletter Nr. 29
January 2019
Dear KUN:ST artists

I wish you and all of us a Happy New Year. It will hopefully be another exciting year for art and our art business and also in 2019 there will be for us no lack of art events and art projects either. An important idea to keep in mind is that many projects arise in the circle of our members.

Last month we published in our newsletter the 7th OpenArts Phönix See 2019 in Dortmund. Our artist Claudia Hiddemann-Holthoff organizes this event once a year, more ...

As an association, we will be heading to Copenhagen for the second time this summer, with the exhibition Memento Mori, an art event that goes back to our artist, Helle Rask Crawford, more ...

Today we announce a special exhibition Art in the hotel of our artist Martina Unterharnscheidt. Martina Unterharnscheidt runs a special kind of hotel - a dedicated art hotel, and artworks are not just decorative elements in a lobby, they are present throughout the hotel, an inspiration and starting point for discussion and insights. Under the theme of red, blue, white or yellow, every artist can apply for a spring exhibition:

The diversity of project offers in our art association has so much to do with the initiatives of our members or suggestions that we receive as a board from our members as proposals for new projects.

General Meeting 2019

We will have our general meeting in 2019 early in the year and invite you to our gallery on February 23, 2019 from 2 - 6 pm to Leonberg.

In preparation for this, we now have a new treasurer, the Peer Beck from Reutlingen. We are still looking for support in the Education & Training division, as our Birgit Schryvers wants to become one of our two managing directors in Leonberg. One of our two auditors will leave the and we will be re-electing several Art Advisory Board members. If you are interested in joining the extended management team, please contact me. On Sunday, January 13, 2019, 2:00 pm, we invite you to the Vernissage of the Winter Academy. For this winter academy we still have four free seats. So if you want to sign up spontaneously, you are very welcome. I have now also received a free 18 sqm exhibition booth for the Antik & Kunst fair, 17.-20. January in Sindelfingen. I offer a free participation there first to the winter academy participants :-)
