Dear KUN:ST artists

With the falling incidences and the first summer temperatures, the sadness of the past months is disappearing and the feeling comes that 'something is happening again' - especially in the art business. Probably the best news of May for us was that our KUN:ST Quartier has been able to reopen its doors starting on May 20, 2021 - even without any pre-booking of visiting hours, but based on the AHA-L rules: with mask, recording of contact details and with a maximum of 20 people present at the same time in the gallery.

And with this we're back to regular opening hours Thursday and Friday 2 pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

It's not only us having waited for this reopening moment. The visitor numbers of these eraly dates indicate that same is true for our visitors and customers.

What's new?

The application period for our exhibition 'Spiegelungen (Reflections)' expired yesterday. Thank you for your numerous applications. The organization of the project is taken over by our art students, who we have recently hired under the lead of our Petra Schmidt.

We now have enough registrations for our participation in ARTe Wiesbaden in September - and those who have registered will receive their confirmation in the next few days. Further registrations are no longer possible - the art fair itself is also sold out.

With today's newsletter we are also announcing our traditional Christmas exhibition Merry Christmas and are now accepting applications. This means that 2021 is fully planned. We have always listed all the 'open' options for registering and participating on this website:

Our current exhibition are 'THE NEW', our new members from the past two years 2019 and 2020. 38 'NEW' members with over 100 artworks have teamed up to create a brilliant exhibition. Due to your inquiries, queries and the great interest in this exhibition, I can already announce that we will repeat the exhibition in January 2022 - then with our new members from 2020 and 2021 - in the same format - we may vary the title slightly, so that nobody thinks it's a repetition :-)

We cordially invite you to visit the exhibition and already today we invite you to a finissage on the last day of the exhibition, on Sunday June 20th, 11:15 am.

Duration of the exhibition: May 27th, 2021 - June 20th, 2021
Finissage: June 20, 2021 | 11:15 am

Duration of the exhibition: June 24th, 2021 - August 1st, 2021
Vernissage: June 27th, 2021 | 11:15 a.m.

As part of the ART PRIZE 2021 exhibition, we have announced an online public voting award that we'll present and announce during the show opening. To date, more than 1,000 people have taken part in the voting. If you sill want to vote up to June 20th, just follow this link:

For the August exhibition we have announced a repetition of the charity campaign KUN:ST FÜR UNS, which was successful in 2019. We have incorporated the feedback from back then and so we will have flexible prices in 2021 and part of the proceeds will go to the artist. You can register and find all information here:

We are still accepting registrations for our Red Dot art fair participation in Miami in December 2021. We continue to hold back downpayment invoices as we are waiting for the travel conditions and requirements to be finally clarified.

Towards the end of the year we will then have two more exhibitions. An exchange exhibition with the art association 'Oberes Nahe'. We have already announced this registration option at the beginning of the year:

And in December we end our year with our traditional Christmas exhibition Merry Christmas and we are now accepting registrations:

Since we are no longer in lockdown mode, we have ended our promotion to register for our digital exhibition 'Aufbruch'. However, the option to register remains permanently throughout the year. A visit is definitely worth it:
