Dear KUN:ST artists,

August is behind us and with the exhibitions 'Spiegelungen' in Schwetzingen and 'Waldspaziergang' in the KUN:ST Quartier we can look back on successful exhibitions in terms of good sales. At the end of August, autumn is already and this time of the year is art season.

For us this means that we in the KUN:ST Quartier are probably showing the highlight of the year with the exhibition “What remains!” curated by our Inge Louven and her gallery, and in September we will also present our art award winners of 2021 at the ARTe in Wiesbaden - supplemented by artworks of a fe members our ours: Ursula Odermath, Christel Friedmann, Bettina Kohlen, Gabriele Bechtel-Scholz, Susana Infurna Buscarino and Igor Eugen Prokop, who lives in Visegrad, Hungary.

On our own matters, the board of the association will meet on September 26th for a planning session for 2022 and discuss setting the course for the future, which we will then present at our general meeting on October 23rd. Since the number of people who are willing to work responsibly is steadily decreasing, this also comes down to the question on what the association should focus on in the future.

The date of our general meeting on October 23rd is still the same, we will communicate the details as soon as we have found a suitable location. We are currently collecting offers, it will definitely be the greater area of Stuttgart / Leonberg.

The registration and application deadlines for the exhibition 'Herbstsichten' in the Obere Nahe valley and the exhibition 'Miami Sunshine' at the Red Dot in Miami in December also ended in August. We will now immediately send the confirmations for 'Herbstsichten', for Miami there will be a 'checkpoint' with the art fair organizer on September 15, whether we can keep the Miami dqate or rather switch to an exhibition in 2022. In any case, we will keep the artists who enrolled for Red Dot together - and for the veterans among us, for whom this will be the second postponement after New York, the 'New York processing rules' will continue to apply.

In December we end our year with our traditional Christmas exhibition Merry Christmas and we accept registrations until September 30th:

Today we announce the first exhibition in 2022. Under the motto 'We are the new ones', the exhibition will again be called 'DIE NEUEN (The New)' and all members who joined after January 1st, 2020 may participate. Otherwise, the same rules apply to the exhibition as the rules of the exhibition beginning of 2021. All details can be found on the registration page.
Registration 'THE NEW'

In our digital exhibition 'Aufbruch' a total of three exhibition halls are now 'live'. This 'digital successor' to our previous yearbook is a presentation platform for the artists of our association with a selection of their artworks. The option to register is permanent and possible at any time. A visit is worth it in any case:
